Warranty Certificate
Scandalli Accordions S.r.l. products are covered by the legal warranty of conformity in accordance with Articles 128-135 of Legislative Decree No. 206 of September 6, 2005 (Consumer Code).
The Legal Warranty of Conformity lasts 24 months from the delivery of the goods and can be extended to 36 months by registering the instrument using the appropriate form available below on this page.
Consumers must report any defect of conformity within two months from the date of purchase.
The warranty covers the free repair or replacement of any components or parts of the instrument found to be defective in materials or manufacturing.
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Damages caused by improper use, negligence, or accidental drops.
- Damages to instruments modified or altered by technicians or dealers not authorized by the manufacturer.
- Damages to instruments whose serial number has been removed, tampered with, or altered.
- Subjective aspects related to personal preferences about the sound or tonal characteristics of the instrument.
- Transportation damages of any kind. (Any claims must be submitted to the manufacturer within 48 hours of receipt of the product.
- Parts subject to normal wear and periodic maintenance, including: deteriorated valve felts, and mechanical parts worn due to intensive use.
- Issues related to the bellows or tuning.
- Polishing of the case and grill.
- Direct or indirect damages because of environmental conditions that deviate from the manufacturer’s specified requirements (found in the “Use and Maintenance” section of the website)
- Shipping costs to and from the service center for repair.
Warranty Service
To access warranty service, the instrument must be delivered to the authorized dealer where the purchase was made, accompanied by a copy of the receipt or invoice.
The dealer will arrange the delivery of the accordion to the manufacturer.
Once received at the headquarters of Scandalli Accordions S.r.l., the product will be inspected to verify whether the defect is covered by the warranty. If so, the repair will be carried out free of charge.
Out-of-Warranty Service
To access out-of-warranty service, the instrument must be delivered to the authorized dealer where the purchase was made.
The dealer will arrange the delivery of the accordion to the manufacturer.
Once received at the headquarters of Scandalli Accordions S.r.l., a detailed cost quotation and delivery time will be provided.
Repair service will proceed only upon the final customer’s approval of the provided quotation.
By filling out the following form, will be possible to extend the warranty certificate that you find inside instrument’s case.
After receiving your data, you’ll get a confirmation e-mail with the new certificate.
As a result of the extension, the purchased instrument will have 3 years warranty in total.
